English Language Arts
Words truly are a gift from God, and using language is part of being made in the image of God. How we choose to put words together, whether written or spoken, can enrich ours and others’ lives. God speaks to us with words; we speak to Him with words; we reveal ourselves with language. Some people use words while others love words and see their potential. Through the study of novels, plays, essays, poems, short stories, and media, English Language Arts students continue to develop their abilities to be responsible and confident readers, writers, speakers, listeners, and viewers.
