Financial Management (Accounting)
Accounting at CACHS is taught using Financial Management modules prescribed by Alberta Education. The courses will provide you with opportunities to develop and understand the basic concepts and procedures of accounting. We deal with basic moral and ethical issues that are associated with the practice of accounting.. We analyze how these relate to the running different types of businesses: a sole proprietorship, a merchandising business and a corporation. Students will learn about the accounting cycle by working through exercises that take them through the accounting procedures followed by a small business and a merchandiser with payroll.
